The Japanese FMV, Sweet Hamster Days, is releasing on July 17. The game was originally listed last year on Steam before it was removed, presumably due to censorship issues. It came back in April this year and the demo was featured in the Steam’s Next Fest. See the news update here.

The game hit a bump in the road last year when its Steam store page was temporarily taken down, but it successfully made its comeback this April after making the necessary adjustments. Upon its return, its eccentric concept and gorgeous visuals caught the attention of players both in Japan and overseas, drawing massive buzz for the return of “Japan’s crazy live-action game.”
It is currently listed with Mature Content, containing ‘Frequent Nudity or Sexual Content.‘ although the demo has neither. It is currently the only FMV with a mature content tag.
