Tutor, What's Next? listed on Steam

Korean developers Monster Guide Inc. have launched the store page for Tutor, What's Next? today. They were behind Love Too Easily 2: Summer Pocha which was released in December last year. The store page launch also comes with a 3GB demo that you can download, which is the first chapter in the game.

You’ve taken a private tutoring job at the mansion of a wealthy pharmaceutical tycoon. But the seven heroines inside seem more interested in a different kind of lesson. Will you stay focused and finish your assignment, or uncover the secrets hidden within the mansion? The choice is yours.

With seven unique heroines, a rich story, and multiple endings to discover, you can carve out your very own romance route. Unlock hidden bonus CGs and behind-the-scenes videos to discover what the ladies are really hiding.

Given a demo is available it seems likely the game will launch in Q4 this year. It will support Japanese, Chinese, and English, along with the native Korean.

The demo will take about 20 minutes to complete and you meet 4 of the 7 love interests. The cast is rather high profile with Juice Seyeon, Choi Yeon Cheong (3M followers), Kim Hyun Young, RingoLYN, Go Yoonseo, Song Chanmi

  1. Sorry for being offtopic. My message from contact form was flagged as spam for some reason. I have a question. I wanted to ask are there any non comedic fmvs? I noticed that almost all of them are comedic and I'd say "extroverted". Are there any which are more "introverted", less "loud", more subtle with emotions, or even sad/melancholic?

    1. Good question. I would say most of them are light-hearted and trend towards regular humor.

Blood Money: Lethal Eden can be quite depressing and is not heavy with jokes. I Can't Beat the Pretty Girls is also better with its emotions and has good range, with sad moments and quiet ones. A Love Letter in Snowfall is fairly grounded, definitely not loud. And finally Game of Fate 2 gets emotional and trends toward melancholy very often, although with funny moments too. Those would be my recommendations if you are looking more nuanced emotion.

      1. Thank your for the reply and thank you for this great website and all the content and reviews you make)

One last question. What's the most sexy yet high quality fmv if there's any in your opinion?

p.s. Sorry if I missed a post like this but I'd really love to read from you a post or two about how you see the future and development of romantic fmvs, what would you like to see added in terms of gameplay, plot tropes, characters, what changed and so on. It'd be really interesting to read.

        1. More good questions. I find that most games that try to be overly sexy end up fumbling it because it comes across a cheap or lacks finesse (e.g. Don't Blush or Come on Fantasy Baby!).

Refate: Echoes of Desire does a pretty good job with sexy which comes from the Japanese setting and actresses. Blossom Voyage is a bit the same but not quite as good. Soul Touch has a the succubus element and most of its sexier parts work well.

Storytaco's games tend to focus on sexy, at the expense of story and substance, but Don't Fool Me Beauties mixed it up fairly well.

A game I'm playing now, Ouch! So many beauties! (哎呦!这么多美女呀! on Steam) is probably the sexiest game I have played to date. Good varied camera angles, close ups, 8k videos, costumes, attractive actresses, and more. Not as good as some of the above games in all areas, but if sexy is what you are after then that game is nearly #1

Thanks for you kind words. I have actually considered writing about the future of the genre and maybe what elements games need to succeed.
