The next demo featured in Steam's Next Fest is the sci-fi one from Plot18. The game is just over 4GB in size and focuses on an AI / robot theme where you play a hacker and everything changes when a prototype robot shows up at your door. You are tasked with getting information from another robot, and the payday will be significant.
Your name is Chen Mo. You were once Pioneer's top "Senior Personality Trainer." Now, you're nothing but an underground hacker and repairman who only cares about money, known by the alias "Ghost Hand." You thought you'd long since grown numb to this city's cold indifference — until two pieces of "cargo" shatter your quiet, carefree life.
One is a top-of-the-line custom android that a crime boss has personally ordered you to crack open — inside it lies a "Pandora's Box" capable of destroying the reputations of the elite uptown.
The demo offers about 30-40 minutes of content and is fairly linear. There is 53 minutes of video content all up. Players will meet Momo (the special robot). M-300 (another robot), Liu Shiyu, and Xia Nuo. Actress Feng Ruohang, who plays Gu Qingwan, is not in the demo, although her character is mentioned several times.
However this demo only has partial English support. Specifically it has English subtitles, but they are microscopic and shown under the Chinese (which can be disabled). Choices and the timeline are shown in Chinese. The interface is a mix of both languages.The code does contain placeholders for English choices and so this might be coming later. Below is a rudimentary mod for the demo that adds English choices and fixes the subtitle font size.

Currently the game has no release date but it will probably come out later this year.
