EpicDream’s next game, Patriot Memoirs, has made it’s way to Steam. The game is a spy thriller set in 1939. It will use third-person and first-person scenes. The game is set to release a few months from now, in July, just days before Shao Song.
Shangchuan, 1939, Japanese-occupied. By day a bowing traitor, by night a ghost, in Demon’s Lair, No. 86. All wear masks: pretend, kill, survive. When sacrificing a friend is the only way, when betrayed, when only isolated cities remain – fight to the end, live a coward, or take an unimagined path?
Although the listing does not come with a trailer, there are numerous small video clips that showcase some scenes. They also reveal some of the actresses that will be in the game
Actresses Zhu Zhilin (朱芝琳) (Breaker of Fatalism) and Yan Ran (严冉) (Beauties for Help on the Island) appear in these clips. The male actor who was in Vanity Fair: The Pursuit is also the lead male in this game.
Like the recently announced Undercover, it is unclear how much romance will be in the game, but it is likely not a huge portion of the experience.
600 minutes of cinematic, dynamic visuals that bring to life the absurd and dark “Shangchuan” – an isolated island. Break free from linear storytelling.
