A new trailer was released for The Fame Game II today. It was uploaded to Chinese social media with Chinese subtitles, as expected given the developers attempts to capture the very large domestic audience. It has been translated below.
The trailer reveals the game is coming out mid-late October, without giving a specific date. This is right around the time of Steam Next Fest and when a demo for The Serena Villa Files is due. Both are international games that feature a big-name Chinese actress (in the world of FMV gaming). Here it is Zhong Chenyao (ZCY) who was most prominently in Love is All Around.
ZCY flew to Los Angeles back in late June to film the project that took a few weeks. Mid October would mean the turnaround from filming to release is about 3 months which is quicker than most games. Given the release date is an estimate they might be in Steam review and waiting for approval, as more and more games suffer weeks of delays which derails release plans.
