Although banned in China, Cellveillance is another great release by Epic Dream. All the events take place in an apartment block that contains an unknown killer. It introduces mysteries nicely and populates the building with great characters. [Review] [Steam]

Originally released on Epic Game Store earlier this year, Echo Flare made its way to Steam as Refate: Echoes of Desire with more content and English support. It mixes Yakuza gangs with action quite nicely thanks to a well crafted story. Even the amnesia plotline works. [Review] [Steam]

Three distinct plot lines with two love interests each. Two of these plotlines are exceptional and the clever structure enhances interactions by using contrast. Good branching paths and deep emotion from a great cast help elevate it even further. [Review] [Steam]

Although technically two games, they are best seen as one package involving a Detective and his dealings with an organization that preys on women. The two are hard separate in terms of quality. Not a regular dating sim like the other games on this list. GoF 2 features a intriguing plot and one of the best main characters in Fang Zhilian, who’s actions mirror the player to improve all bonds. It is also an emotional roller-coaster. [Review] [Steam]

Although quite linear, My Journey screams big budget in every way. The cast is amazing. The story is appealing as we learn about all the love interests via their own trials and tribulations. It is fantastic to be an altruist as you perform kind acts without anyone knowing. [Review] [Steam]

Thanks to a huge amount of content and an authentic feel, Such a Guy does almost everything flawlessly. A lot of effort went into the production and there are so many great scenes with all the love interests. So close being the best in the genre this year. [Review] [Steam]

The first game to be released in 2025 is also the year’s best. A class act in every respect, bolstered by a tremendous cast. Hello Love: 18 Again has fantastic love interests, funny scenes, good pacing. and a stellar soundtrack that is used to perfection.
