Sinkhole Outlaw Chase《天坑追匪》appeared on Steam today. The FMV game is based on a novel by Tianxia Bachang. No release date was given and English was not listed. The game also makes no mention of romance, but there are a few romance FMV actresses and a couple of scenes in the trailer that might qualify as romance. Set in 1954, players join a search and rescue team in the primeval forest of Laoyeling in Northeast China.
A scientific expedition team composed of Chinese and foreign researchers fell into a sinkhole due to an accident, and the entire team mysteriously lost contact. As the captain of the emergency search and rescue mission, you will overcome numerous obstacles and confront the unknown fate head-on
Liu Xinnian (刘昕念) from Vanity Fair: The Pursuit, Shao Bao’er (邵宝儿) from Protagonist, and Sun Qianyu (孙千予) from Hello Love: 18 Again are in this game, so it might be of interest to some. While primarily third-person, the trailer has a few short first-person scenes that seem romantically inclined. The game might not have that much romance, although the (linear) story timeline shows a classic favor rating for the female characters so there might be more than the trailer shows.
English is not listed as a supported language and there is no release date. It might be out Q4 this year.
