Don’t Blush releasing five days earlier

Don’t Blush has been reverse delayed and is now coming 5 days earlier, on August 14. The game, previously known as Dating a Ghost, was due out sometime in June but was delisted from Steam shortly before Next Fest and came back as Don’t Blush with some different branding. The new game was set to release on August 19, just one day before Shao Song and 2 days before Hua Manlou.

It is likely that the delay was to give it space from these other games, particularly Shao Song as it has rather a large budget and marketing power, but more space between releases is better for gamers who play all of the titles.

The developers did release a news update about the game a few days after it returned to Steam.

We know many of you have been curious about where we’ve been during this time.

Although we didn’t share frequent updates, our team never stopped working.

In addition to coordinating with industry partners regarding resubmission, our development team thoroughly re-examined the game itself, conducting multiple rounds of optimization and polish around both content and experience.

We have always believed that a great interactive FMV game needs not only a touching story, but also quality that offers great replayability.

Therefore, this comeback isn’t just a relaunch—it’s a more mature beginning.

They did not actually list what was changed or removed. Instead they said nothing was lost but that players will have to see for themselves what has changed. Not sure how we do that exactly.
