After a lengthy battle with Steam review, Mystery Crown have revealed that Inner Scales 1: Choice will be releasing on July 25th, at 17:18 China Standard Time, which is 09:18 UTC. Quite why it is releasing at this exact time is unknown, but it might be related to the steam approval timeline. They also released a few new screenshots today.
The game now lists support for English, which was expected given Mystery Crown generally try to support many languages out of the box. The interface does look a little rough, which is also expected as the developer pointed out they do not have many UI developers. Perhaps if this sells well, they will be able to splurge on a few UI developers for the sequel that is planned to release this year.

Zhang Cheng, a new office worker, accepts a mysterious out-of-town assignment to secure his permanent position and earn extra money: four days of confined delivery work, no mobile phones allowed, with a daily pay of 1,000 yuan. Thinking it’s just a simple part-time job, he instead enters a heavily guarded suburban prison building.
Here, he delivers meals and takes body measurements for eight unknown women on the second floor each day, only to gradually discover they were all kidnapped. The entire building is under surveillance, its walls wired with high-voltage electricity, and corpses in identical prison uniforms are buried at the corners.
