StarPlay Studio have just listed the game Dating a Ghost (鬼才和你谈恋爱!) on Steam. It’s a light-horror FMV game that features veterans of the genre. The game is due out sometime in June this year and will feature a system that requires players to drawn symbols on the screen to banish evil spirits.
“Dating a Ghost” is a Neo-Chinese light-horror interactive film (FMV) where drive the story through branching choices, QTEs, talisman drawing, and scene exploration.
A modern campus hides the secrets of a hidden world. In his search for the truth, Chase gradually awakens his latent potential.
The unique Yin-Yang Eye exploration system lets you switch between normal vision and a vision that reveals spirits, uncovering clues, ghosts, and special items hidden in everyday scenes.
Step into Chase’s shoes to navigate the modern campus and the mysterious hidden world, writing your own romantic legend
Veterans Chen Man (陈建真) from Game of Fate, Ma Qianqian (马倩倩) from Knowledge or Know Lady, and Lu Lanyu (鹿蓝予) from Beauties for Help on the Island have been confirmed as three of the love interests via these screenshots. One screenshots shows an interface with name tags for six women, presumably that means there will be six love interests, although the main screen only shows the legs of three characters.
During paranormal encounters or puzzles, follow on-screen outline prompts to precisely draw traditional patterns—such as Bagua symbols, talismans, and protective motifs—on the trackpad.

No trailer has been released yet. This game only started filming a few weeks ago, so there is likely no production-ready footage available just yet. It will also likely star veterans Lou Ling (楼泠) and Wang Xingchen (王星辰) who were in Hello Love: 18 Again and Love is All Around.
English, Japanese, Russian and Thai are also supported.
A two month turnaround from filming to release is fast and quite rare. SIFU Kidnapped! did manage to film and release in about two months, but typically these games take 6-9 months.
