A spin off sequel to Detective Guard My Secret has been listed on Steam. Flam Evaw, or ‘Flame Wave’ with the wave spelt backwards is set on a luxury cruise liner. The game has no release date.
The game will feature two of the women from the previous game and two new ones. Kitty and naive cosplayer Wan Xiaoxiao are returning. The two new ones are a police officer, Xu Yinzhen and a wanted killer, Aiko. The game also mentions that other beautiful characters will be in the game. The original game mentioned 3 women on the store page but actually had six+ main love interests.
Two other returning women are also shown in the trailer, although it is hard to tell how much of a role they will play. The game mentions upgraded gameplay elements like clue cards, companion skills and more. It also apparently has two difficulty modes, realistic and classic. Perhaps classic will not lock players into their first choice like the original.
The original game only has English subtitles out of the box (a mod for choices is available). But this spin-off sequel will support English, Japanese, and Korean for the interface and subtitles. The interface looks relatively far along so it might not be far away from release.
