The best part of Season 2 of FHUOR was the three new characters it introduced. Two of them, Gyu-ri and Yu-jeong, were main love interests while a third, Dr. Suzy, was a side character that gained unprecedented popularity. Storytaco recognized this and set to work on a DLC featuring the trio. While a little shallow, Winter Trip is a good expansion due to its flow and characters.
Yuman is sick of the demands from Mal-sook, Gran, and Min-jung. He storms out of the house and meets Doctor Suzy Lee on the street. She takes pity and brings him back to her place. Gyu-ri lives there too, and the three enjoy some time together. Later, Yuman helps Yu-jeong with her part-time work.
Only in the third and final chapter do the four visit a luxury ski resort, and it is a little disappointing that only one chapter involves the actual trip. As Yuman, you decide which of the three you like more.

Doctor Suzy Lee had the most potential, since she was essentially a blank slate. Unfortunately that does not change much. Although she cares and acts human, there is no sense of her preferences, history, or hobbies. She is no longer seen in a medical context; watching her get flustered in a situation that should not faze a medical professional was charming. She does still get a little heated, like when you touch her ears during a drinking game. Mostly she is a tsundere who becomes slightly hostile when the other girls take focus. Despite this, she retains an alluring persona.
Gyu-ri remains largely unchanged. While a good character, you spend the least amount of time alone with her. We don’t learn much about her either. When the others steal attention, she just gets sad. So rather than being a gentle ray of sunshine, she is more like an oscillating laser beam.

Yu-jeong is the best of the three because her narrative side is a fraction stronger. You help her with a coffee shop and deal with a scumbag previous employee. She mentions looking up snowboarding videos before you hit the slopes. And she hopes not to be a burden. This does enough to make us believe she exists off screen. And since she is rarely sad or frosty, refusing her requests is hard.
While the runtime is a little short, the DLC feels dense and maintains good flow. It is also funny, like when you break eggs on heads or eat all the sausages. Choices appear at the right time and the respectable branching paths turn a 1.6 hour first run into around 4.5 hours for 100%. Sadly the endings are a bit short. Still, it is situated well as DLC, giving players half the content for half the price.

If you liked the main game and are intrigued by at least two of the three characters featured here then you need to make time to play this expansion—Doctor’s orders.
